Requirement
Accurate and almost real-time indoor air quality monitoring of a six level building with 120 rooms where wiring is not a possibility. Data from the sensors must be interfaced to the existing control system via BACnet TCP, external internet access is not allowed.
Solution
An On-premise IoT solution was implemented using IQnexus LoRaWAN gateways and sensors. An NBnano was used to manage the On-Premise LoRaWAN network and devices. The IQnexus NBnano is a fully integrated LoRaWAN device management system that translates LoRaWAN to BACnet, ModBus and other BMS protocols. The LoRaWAN indoor gateways provide a strong and deep penetrating network that allows communication between the sensors in the building.

- HVAC high efficiency due to each room being accurately monitored
